1. (Proper Noun-Common) Rice, wheat or grain weevil is a beetle formed herbivorous bug of Curculionoidea superfamily. They are very small in shape and size, less than 6 mm. The grain or wheat weevil damages stored grain. They are also known as grain weevils. The females lay many eggs and the larvae inside the grain kernels. Weevils are reddish-brown or black in colour.
